Located in Cars, north of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, Château Bel-Air La Royère welcomes visitors throughout the year for tours and tastings of its organic wines, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our tours and tastings are designed to be accessible to everyone. We welcome curious wine lovers, passionate enthusiasts and visitors discovering the region, with no need for prior wine knowledge. Here, wine tasting is above all about sharing an experience: taking the time to explain, tell our story and help you discover the world of wine.
Tour and tasting
“Behind the Scenes of Winemaking”
Since 1992, Château Bel-Air La Royère has been committed to producing quality wines while respecting the environment and the unique terroir of the Blaye region.
During this 1½-hour experience, step into the everyday world of a winemaker. Discover how we work in the vineyard and the winery, how we care for our vines, the different stages of winemaking, and some of the keys to better understanding and appreciating wine.
The tour concludes with a guided tasting of four wines from the estate.

- Days : Monday to saturday
- Times : 11:00 am–12:30 pm and 3:00 pm–4:30 pm (times may vary depending on the season)

Blending Workshop & tasting
“Create your own cuvée”
Enjoy a hands-on 1½-hour wine experience at Château Bel-Air La Royère and step into the shoes of a winemaker.
After a guided tasting of the single-varietal wines from our JUSTIN range, you will learn how to identify their aromas, structure and finish. The tasting is accompanied by a selection of charcuterie and cheeses.
Equipped with a technical tasting sheet, a measuring cylinder and your tasting glass, you will then create your own blends according to your preferences : fruity, oaky, tannic or aromatic.
At the end of the workshop, you will take home your own personalised 75 cl bottle, containing the unique blend you created.

Birthday celebrations, bachelor or bachelorette parties, get-togethers with friends or corporate events: we will work with you to create a tailor-made experience at the estate.

The estate is easily accessible by car and free parking is available on site.
Can I buy wine after my visit?
Yes. Our wines can be purchased directly from the estate after your tour and tasting.
